Spirit is a 23 ft. North American Yacht built in 1979
Specs:
       LOA: 23 ft.  Sloop rig
       800 lbs ballast, plus 500 lbs internal battery ballast, total ballast 1,300 lbs
​       swing keel (draft 2-5 ft)

She has gone through extensive repairs. 
       Rebuilding the rotten gunnels. 
       Adding a 2 in. mast step pulpit to make up for the 2 inches of mast cut off
                from a previous repair
       Solar powered
            with 4, 100 watt panels
            Minnkota 112 lb, thrust motor on a 36 volt battery bank
       GPS plotter
       VHF radio
       Serius XM weather antena

Future additions to make her more seaworthy for the rugged coast of Maine
       Radar
       Self Steering pilot
       Heavier standing rigging (port shroud gave way this year)
       Positive buoyancy
       Bow pulpit with windlass 
​       Lines leading back to aid single handed sailing
